This product is designed to be a DIRECT plug and play replacement for your factory Toyota USB / AUX port. We also include the harness that connects to the back of the head unit for two reasons:

1. The replacement USB / AUX port has a different connector to the harness in the vehicle 

2. Replacing just the USB / AUX port does not fix the issue.

To install, simply remove the existing port, unplug the connectors, then plug in the new one and push it into place.
